    On Friday, November 13 eight Mercy College of Ohio Cardiovascular Technology program students and faculty members volunteered at the Go RED for Women luncheon hosted by the American Heart Association.     Current Mercy College of Ohio Radiologic Technology students recently provided 283 gifts for Lucas County Children’s Services for Christmas. The annual service project asks students to buy gifts for children, age infant to teen. Radiology faculty and others connected to the program at Mercy College also donated gifts. Each year the group counts this as their Christmas gathering, starting the gift wrapping frenzy with a pot luck luncheon.     Since the Youngstown location of Mercy College of Ohio (Mercy College) opened in 2003, it has consistently enrolled high quality students and made a great impact on the community. Of the 433 graduates from the Youngstown location, 91% work in the greater Mahoning Valley helping to address the shortage of Registered Nurses in the area. To promote educational opportunities in the area, a new 35ft high by 20ft wide banner with information about Mercy College was installed on Thursday, January 21  on the Cardiac Rehab Building of St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital that houses Mercy College's Youngtown location.

She joined Mercy College after earning her bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
