Introducing Mercy College Mascot: Blue Healer
New for the fall semester at Mercy College is a mascot. The Blue Healer was introduced featuring a friendly-looking Blue Heeler dog with shades of Mercy College blue. The spelling of healer is a deliberate play on the healing focus of Mercy College's programs.
The mascot will begin to appear throughout the building during the fall semester. The Mercy College Blue Healer will be primarily used internally and it is hoped the mascot will add to the collegiate environment helping to generate: something to celebrate, school spirit, fun, and a sense of community and pride. The Blue Healer Hub was created providing a space intended to serve as a one-stop-shop and quick introduction to the many available Mercy College services and resources for students.
