Faculty Member CCRN Certified for 35 Years
Deborah Zajac, MSN, RN, CCRN, CNE, Assistant ASN Program Chair and Associate Professor at Mercy College of Ohio’s Youngstown location has been certified as a CCRN for 35 years. CCRN® is a registered service mark of American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) Certification Corporation and denotes certification in acute/critical care nursing as granted by AACN Certification Corporation.
CCRN certification validates knowledge of nursing care of acutely/critically ill patients to hospital administrators, peers, and patients. CCRN certification promotes continuing excellence in the critical care nursing field. Research studies link higher levels of clinical knowledge, skill and experience with CCRN certification.
