Mercy College Faculty Member Honored for Contribution to Emergency Medicine
Heidi Hess, a six-year Instructor in Mercy College's Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic Certificate programs, was recently recognized by the University of Toledo at the seventh annual Emergency Medicine Wall of Honor Induction Ceremony. Heidi is a Paramedic and served 22 years in the Springfield Township Fire Department. In 2014, she retired as captain of the EMS department from Springfield Township. Heidi was one of three inductees who all accepted plaques bearing their faces, names, and accomplishments.
