Debt-Free Educational Opportunities Expanded at Mercy College

Updated: June 2024 to include the Phlebotomy program, links to program pages, and to clarify additional information.

Attention all aspiring healthcare professionals! If you're ready to pursue a degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Paramedic, Phlebotomy, Sleep Tech, or Surgical Technology, we have some great news. Now, students in these fields at Mercy College will join nursing students and have the chance to have their entire educational journey funded, covering tuition, fees, books, and even uniforms, all thanks to a remarkable partnership between Mercy Health and Mercy College of Ohio.

This initiative allows students to potentially have up to 100% of their educational expenses covered if they commit to working for Mercy Health while still in school. Imagine pursuing your dream healthcare career without the burden of student debt – it's an opportunity like no other. Hundreds of Mercy College nursing students have taken advantage of this program since 2022 and now students in other disciplines can participate in this amazing opportunity.

Mercy College will host in-person and virtual information sessions for people interested in tuition assistance and healthcare programs at www.mercycollege.edu/visit.

Here's how it works: eligible students are required to work a minimum of 6 hours per week at a Mercy Health facility to qualify for tuition assistance. Upon graduation, participants in these programs must work at a Mercy Health facility for 18 months. Learn more about careers with Mercy Health at www.mercy.com/careers
