Mercy College of Ohio Announces Approval of Second Graduate Degree Program
“Mercy College’s MHA program will develop leaders who can perform at a strategic level to improve health system operations, positively impact patient outcomes, and prepare individuals for leadership roles in healthcare,” said Trevor Bates, DHSc, AT, Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Mercy College. “This program will be offered through online delivery.”
The MHA program will benefit individuals with a baccalaureate degree in any field as Kim Watson, EdD, MBA, RHIA, Dean of Graduate Studies, Director of the MHA Program, and Professor at Mercy College explained. “The program was designed in consultation with healthcare industry experts to ensure that the curriculum is aligned with the knowledge and skills that healthcare employers are seeking of current and future healthcare leaders. We are thrilled to offer an MHA program that will provide students with an understanding of evidence-based decision making and knowledge vital to serve as an effective leader in ever-changing healthcare organizations.”
Applications are currently being accepted for the MHA program for Fall (August) 2018. An Online Information Session for the MHA program will be held February 28 at 5:00 p.m. (EST).
