Mercy College Expands Nursing Seats to Meet Demand

In response to the fact that the demand for nurses has reached levels not seen in 80 years, Mercy College of Ohio is increasing the number of students being accepted into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program to 96 (33% increase) in August of this year. This is in addition to 64 students that will be accepted into the BSN program in January of 2019 and 152 students being accepted into the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program in August.

GFWC Women’s Club of BG Scholarship for Nontraditional Women

The GFWC Women’s Club of Bowling Green, dedicated to improving the status of women, will provide scholarships to women age 23 years and older. The aim of these scholarships is to meet the needs of the nontraditional student who wishes to return to school or to further her education. The maximum scholarship will be $2,000.
