Youngstown Nursing Students Fundraise for the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley
Youngstown nursing students, faculty, and staff raised $1265 for the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley's Move Our Mission Fund. Students planned a Mercy College t-shirt fundraiser and tie-dye mixer for upper and lower level nursing students. Students dyed their own shirts and celebrated with pizza. Crystal Ekman, Mission Ambassador at the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley, attended the event, accepted the donation, and interviewed students. Funds will be going towards the Mission's much needed new building.
