Continue Your Academic Journey with Mercy College of Ohio

We understand how challenging and unsettling it can be to face the unexpected closure of your college. During times of transition, having a clear and supportive path forward matters. At Mercy College of Ohio, we welcome transfer students with a deep commitment to helping you stay on track and achieve your academic goals.

For Lourdes nursing students, Mercy College’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program may be a particularly strong fit. Clinical seats are currently available, and each transcript will be individually and thoughtfully evaluated to maximize the transfer of nursing and other completed coursework. Our goal is to help you continue your education with as little disruption as possible.

To further support your transition, Mercy College will:

  • Waive the $125 enrollment deposit required prior to registration
  • Offer individualized or group campus visits for interested students—schedule at mercycollege.edu/visit
  • Extend the 2026–2027 scholarship deadline for Lourdes transfer students by two weeks, moving it to March 13, 2026.
  • Provide information regarding the opportunity for employment with Mercy Health. Mercy College students in select programs—such as nursing and radiologic technology—may be eligible for employment with Mercy College that offers tuition benefits in exchange for an 18‑month work commitment. Transferring students may be considered for these opportunities, helping reduce the cost of completing their degrees.
