Students attend AICUO Independent College Day

Mercy College students (pictured below) Morgan McConnell, Amanda Morse, Alysha Rec and Audra Rec participated in the AICUO Independent College Day on February 8, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio. AICUO is the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in Ohio, a group that represents the interests of its members to Ohio’s lawmakers, regulators, and citizens. Mercy College students were accompanied by Deanna Vatan, Mercy College's Director of Student Life and Housing.

Mercy College Scholarships

Have you completed your scholarship application yet? Don't forget the deadline to apply for Fall 2017 scholarships is February 28, 2017. Only one application is necessary to be considered for all Mercy College scholarships available. Visit https://www.mercycollege.edu/tuition-aid/financial-aid/scholarship-online-application/ and apply. Please write an essay on the Mercy values and how you demonstrate them in your life, your commitment to the College's motto of compassion and caring, and an explanation of your chosen major and your perceived need for funds. This essay should be no greater than 500 words. Reminder to all nursing students - please have your nursing reference letters submitted to the financial aid office by the deadline.

Mercy College Enrollment Increases to New Record

Mercy College of Ohio President, Susan C. Wajert, PhD, announced fall 2016 enrollment has increased at Mercy College with 1355 students enrolled. This is an overall increase of 9% from fall 2015 and a record enrollment for Mercy College. The Toledo campus enrollment increased by 8% with 1155 students, while the Youngstown enrollment increased 13% with 200 students.

Important Billing and Health Insurance Information

Your fall 2016 billing statement is available on your Empower account.

Please note that all students who are enrolled in 6 or more credits will be automatically enrolled in the Mercy College Health Insurance plan. This annual coverage is an excellent and affordable plan. More information is available in the Business Office.

If you already have health insurance and wish to waive, please complete the online Health Insurance Waiver form. This waiver is available on your Empower account. The link is directly below your billing detail summary. Please click all three “Update buttons” on the left-hand side of the form to update all information, type your name to decline coverage, and submit. The charges will be removed from your bill within 5 business days.
