Dr. Melanie Green assumes interim president responsibilities of Mercy College of Ohio
As Fall semester begins at Mercy College, we are sharing an important change in the leadership of Mercy College. Dr. Melanie Green has assumed interim president responsibilities of Mercy College of Ohio, partnering directly with Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center leadership and the Mercy College Board of Trustees. We remain committed to the academic experience of our students, faculty, and staff, and will continue to share updates as we move forward. The Mercy College Board of Trustees will conduct a presidential search for a successor.
Dr. Green has extensive experience in healthcare education and she is committed to advancing mission-driven education. In addition to these interim Toledo-based responsibilities, Dr. Green will continue her current role supporting the good work of Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing, Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital School of Medical Imaging, and Southside College of Health Sciences. We wish our Mercy College students and staff well as they begin this new school year.
