Dr. Melanie Green assumes interim president responsibilities of Mercy College of Ohio
As Fall semester begins at Mercy College, we are sharing an important change in the leadership of Mercy College. Dr. Melanie Green, Bon Secours Mercy Health chancellor of higher education institutions, has been appointed as interim president of Mercy College of Ohio. We remain committed to the academic experience of our students, faculty, and staff, and will continue to share updates as we move forward. The Mercy College Board of Trustees has begun a national search for a successor.
Dr. Green has extensive experience in healthcare education is committed to advancing mission-driven education. In her current role, she oversees strategic educational initiatives of Mercy College of Ohio and other institutions including Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing, Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital School of Medical Imaging and Southside College of Health Sciences. In this role, she fosters collaboration between the colleges, the Culture & Talent team, ministry leadership and external partners to enhance the quality and reach of health care education.
