Mercy College of Ohio President Susan Wajert, PhD, recently joined other community leaders as a celebrity waiter at the Central City Ministry of Toledo (CCMT) Celebrity Wait Night.

The theme of the night was “On Duty for Education.” The event, held at Real Seafood Company, featured celebrity waiters comprised of community leaders from across northwest Ohio including law enforcement officials, other college and university presidents, and representatives from area Catholic schools and the Diocese of Toledo, along with many others.

CCMT, comprised of Queen of Apostles and Rosary Cathedral campuses, is a central city pre-K through 8th grade diocesan school. CCMT provides a strong academic and religious education to a diverse population while focusing on personal growth and compassion for others. Ninety-nine percent of CCMT students graduate from high school and 95% of them pursue higher education. Monies raised through the celebrity wait night go directly to school operations. Mercy College of Ohio is committed to the Toledo community and proud to support CCMT.
