Description | The Stations of the Cross is a devotional service commemorating the final moments of Jesus during His earthly ministry as He made His way to the cross. The custom of walking the Stations of the Cross originated when early Christians visited Jerusalem and wanted to follow literally in the footsteps of Jesus, tracing the path from Pilate’s house to Calvary. They would pause for prayer and devotion at various points. Eventually, those pilgrims brought this practice back to their home countries and ever since then Christians of differing traditions have used this form of devotion. Come and enjoy this devotion through Canvas on March 27th starting at 12:00 PM. The service will be located on the Campus Life page. |
