The projected growth for registered nurses from 2022 to 2032 is 6%, with about 193,100 annual openings expected on average over the decade. These openings are largely due to the need to replace workers transitioning to different occupations or retiring. This growth rate is faster than the average for all occupations, reflecting an ongoing demand for healthcare services, especially given the aging population.
