The AASN-BSN Completion Pathway is an opportunity for AASN students to take select courses toward the BSN Completion degree (while in their associate program). Enrollment in the AASN to BSN Completion Pathway requires that students are concurrently enrolled in a nursing course within the Mercy College AASN Program.

Pathway Overview

The Mercy College AASN to BSN Completion Pathway provides nursing students the opportunity to take courses toward their BSN degree. This enables students to get a head start toward their BSN degree!

*It is advised that AASN students complete NUR 324 prior to NUR 414 or any of the upper-division nursing electives below given the course content. If students need an option, their Academic Advisor will work with them to select a general education or nursing elective course.

Admission Information

In order to add the AASN-BSN Completion Pathway to their program of study, students must contact their AASN Academic Advisor to complete the “Undergraduate Change of Program of Study” Form, which will be submitted to Student Records. After the form is submitted, students will meet with their BSN Completion Academic Advisor to discuss the rigor of the courses and make their selections.
