Attention Faculty/Staff/Students

The hallway carpeting is being replaced on the 2nd floor of Madison. The following areas on the 2nd floor Madison will be blocked off from Tuesday, November 22 – Friday, December 2nd.

The hallways being affected due to construction are:

  • 2nd floor Madison area outside the double set of elevators (near library)
  • 2nd floor Madison Student Engagement suite to the single elevator

Classroom 2630 and 2nd floor Madison study rooms are accessible but you will need to use the double set of connecting elevators at the far end of the hallway.

Both the single elevator and the double (library) elevators are available – there is signage posted announcing that the 2nd floor Madison is not available due to the flooring project.

Your Generosity Allows Students to Continue With Their Education

Submitted by Hannah Bohn

Many Mercy College students have more on their plate than going to class and completing clinicals. For one nursing student, this includes being the physical and financial caretaker for her disabled mother. On top of that, she works a part-time job and is putting herself through driving school in the hopes that receiving a driver’s license will allow her to better manage the duties of supporting her household.

She shares, “The Student Emergency Fund has helped me so much. It’s helping me be self-sufficient. I am so grateful for everything Mercy College has done for me and for others in similar situations. It means the world to me that there are people out there who are able to help and actually care. I am proud to say that I will graduate from the nursing program at Mercy College in 2023.”
