Master Calendar

The Master Calendar on the website is maintained by the Enrollment Division. It is strongly encouraged that all events and activities at the College be identified on this calendar so that everyone is aware of what is happening. This also allows us to make informed decisions regarding scheduling Division/Department events.

In order to have your events added to the calendar, please complete the Master Calendar event form.

It can also be found on the faculty and staff forms page.

Events will not be added to the Master Calendar without the completion of the above form. It is imperative that we have the form so we know who submitted the calendar entry and can track the information.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks!
Lori

Alumni Spotlight: Elizabeth (Schreiner) Blake ’89

Elizabeth (Beth Schreiner) Blake received her diploma from Mercy School of Nursing in 1989. She shares, “my Mercy experience set me up for success and led me to where I am today. The classes were small and intense. Within two weeks, I was at the patient bedside providing passionate care. I was taught to treat my patients like family. My education at Mercy instilled in me that I should always seek out more information and never stop learning.”

Beth has been working as a Flight Nurse and Paramedic in Florida for 17 years. She recently completed all five BCEN (Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing) certifications, a feat which only 36 others in the world have currently completed. These certifications include; CEN- Certified Emergency Nurse, CFRN- Certified Flight Registered Nurse, CTRN- Certified Transport Registered Nurse, CPEN- Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse, TCRN- Trauma Certified Registered Nurse.

Beth shares that she always wants to be ready for the next, newest thing. By bettering herself and her knowledge base, she is able to provide better patient care and quality of care. Beth continues to serve her community in new ways. She recently signed up to start a COVID-19 vaccine trial. “I am exposed to patients with COVID-19 while at work. We have transported patients with severe symptoms. This is just another way for me to help.”
Beth’s mother and sister are also graduates of Mercy.

We’re proud of the ambitions and accomplishments of our students and alumni. Each month, current students and/or alumni will be recognized. Tell us your Mercy story. Please email suggested names to alumni@mercycollege.edu or complete a nomination form. Peer-nominations and self-nominations are accepted.
