Enrollment News
As we enter the season of fall, I hope you and your families are well as we continue to deal with the pandemic and our crazy world.
In addition to the Healthcare Worker Wednesday enrollment events scheduled for October 13, November 10, and December 1, in-person Information Sessions will be held on November 2, 3, and 4. Programs are being carefully scheduled in various rooms on campus to maintain a safe environment at all times. Further details will be coming to the Program Directors.
I hope to soon have news to share about the restructuring of the enrollment division. Changes are being made based on the recommendations of Dr. Jeff Gates, our Ruffalo Noel Levitz consultant and as soon as all of the details are finalized I will inform the college community. I am also awaiting the Strategic Enrollment Plan from Dr. Gates. It will also shared as we prepare to begin the implementation of the plan.
Mercy College will be celebrating Transfer Week October 18 - 22. We will be expressing our appreciation to the many transfer students that have selected Mercy College as their institution, as well as reaching out to prospective transfer students for upcoming semesters.
I would also like to thank the faculty and staff who participated in the Alumni and Friends Weekend activities. While the gatherings were smaller than usual, guests enjoyed the banquet and mass and brunch with alumni coming from as far as Arizona and Washington, DC. Congratulations to Jessie Coombs who won the 50/50 raffle. Super fun shirts are still available for purchase by contacting Hannah Bohn.

Tent City Collection Drive

The NUR 402 students are having a collection drive as they participate in Tent City this year. They are collecting new or gently used hats, gloves and scarves as well as toiletries that will be handed out on October 23. Please see the flyer for details. Collection boxes are located at the Jefferson St. elevators, 3rd floor student lounge and Professor Yarger's office (M3816). The collections run from 9/20/21-10/20/21.
