Fundraising for Maria Nowicki Scholarship
In recognition of Maria Nowicki’s dedication to the nursing profession and passion for lifelong education, funds are being raised to establish a scholarship in Maria Nowicki’s honor. Maria graduated from Mercy School of Nursing and was instrumental in the school’s transition to an accredited college (now Mercy College of Ohio). Maria led the nursing division at Mercy for 17 years and was committed to the college’s growth, supporting students, and providing financial resources. The Maria Nowicki Scholarship Fund will provide financial assistance to new or current Mercy students enrolled in a nursing program.
