Annual Flu Shot Information

Flu shot
  • If you receive your flu shot at a Mercy Health facility your verification will be automatically uploaded to your Be Well profile. You should ask for a copy for your records.
  • For those associates that choose to have their flu vaccination outside a Mercy Health facility, you are to submit your proof of flu vaccination via email.
  • If you need to submit a medical or religious flu exemption form, follow the instructions below:

Flu Shots are now available on the Mercy Campus on the 2nd floor of Madison, M2619 at the dates and times listed below.

Make sure to have your Employee ID with you and be able to provide your employee ID number.

  • October 19, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • October 20, 1 - 5 p.m.
  • October 21, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • October 24, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • October 25, 8 a.m. - Noon
  • October 26, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • October 27, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • October 31, 8 a.m. - Noon
  • November 1, 9 a.m. - 1p.m.

Madison Entrance Update

In Toledo, since the beginning of the fall semester the Madison entrance (doors) have been manually unlocked from 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, starting Monday, October 17 the Madison doors will be locked and accessible only by use of your employee ID badge! If your ID badge does not work to unlock the door you will need to report this to Security at 419-251-4444 so that they can provide you access.

Reminder: The Jefferson lobby (handicapped door entrance) is unlocked Monday-Friday from 6 a.m.-5 p.m. You will need your employee ID badge to enter this entrance during the times the card reader is locked: Monday-Friday from 6 p.m.-5 a.m. and on weekends.

As a reminder, we are asking all associates and students to use the Madison Avenue parking lots Monday – Friday during business hours in order to free up parking spaces for visitors to the campus. Please avoid parking in non-marked spaces in the Jefferson lots by first checking the Madison Avenue lots. The Jefferson Avenue parking lots are available after business hours and on the weekends – make sure you have your employee ID badge with you at all times. It should be worn when you are on campus and it will be needed to enter the campus when the card reader is locked. Thank you for your cooperation.

Admissions held a land-based information night last week on 10/12 for the Nursing programs. We had an excellent turnout with 19 engaged prospective students and their families and support friends.

The fall recruitment season remains active. This week, admission officers will be visiting the following schools and events:

Lastly, we will host a healthcare worker Wednesday session on 10/19. Currently, we have 87 RSVP’s for the virtual event tomorrow.
