Admissions News

Last week the admissions team and program directors welcomed prospective students on campus for an information session for programs; Surg Tech, Rad Tech, Polysomnographic tech, Phlebotomy and EMT/Paramedic. We hosted 13 students to discuss program-specific information and help students get an idea of what to expect when entering one of these programs.

This week, Wednesday, October 12, we will host prospective students for ASN, BSN, ABSN and Biology. Currently, we have 29 RSVPs for this event.

Admission officers continue to remain busy at various recruitment events. This week we will have representatives at:

Lorain County Community College
Washtenaw Community College
Otsego High School
Antwerp High School
Scott High School
EHOVE
Fairview High School
Wauseon High School
Northview High School
Eastwood High School

Next week, we will host Healthcare Worker Wednesday Session on October 19. We currently have 50 RSVPs

Thank you to all program directors, faculty, and staff who have helped with this very busy recruitment season. We appreciate your assistance with all events, info sessions, HWW sessions!

Institutional Research Publications

Both the 2020-2021 Databook and the 2022 Fall Fast Facts documents have been uploaded to the Mercy College website. The Fall Fast Facts includes a new page with Retention and Persistence information for this year versus the prior year.

Other updates to institutional research publications will be completed in November, once IPEDS is submitted.
