Using the GrayMail Folder in Microsoft Outlook
Submitted by Jeff Metzger
You may have noticed a new folder in your Outlook inbox called GrayMail. Incoming messages such as product updates or marketing emails are considered "GrayMail" and will now be routed automatically to this new folder. This will free up your inbox so you can focus on the most important messages first.
What if "GrayMail" isn't caught and lands in my inbox when it shouldn't? Simply move the unwanted message to the GrayMail folder, and the system will remember to send all future emails from that sender.
What if a message ends up in my GrayMail folder but should have gone to my inbox instead? Simply move the message over to your inbox, and the system will remember that the sender is safe in the future.
The new GrayMail folder is available everywhere you check your email: Outlook, Outlook Web Access, and the Outlook app for iPhone and Android. While this new system is very effective at identifying and moving GrayMail, be sure to check the GrayMail folder occasionally, just like your Junk folder, to ensure you aren't missing anything important.
Fundraising for Maria Nowicki Scholarship
In recognition of Maria Nowicki’s dedication to the nursing profession and passion for lifelong education, funds are being raised to establish a scholarship in Maria Nowicki’s honor. Maria graduated from Mercy School of Nursing and was instrumental in the school’s transition to an accredited college (now Mercy College of Ohio). Maria led the nursing division at Mercy for 17 years and was committed to the college’s growth, supporting students, and providing financial resources. The Maria Nowicki Scholarship Fund will provide financial assistance to new or current Mercy students enrolled in a nursing program.
