Street Closures

Please be aware there are several street closures around the Toledo campus. Currently, Jefferson Avenue is one way heading west.

Youngstown Nursing Summer Skills Olympics!

Laurie Minich BSN, RN - Youngstown Nursing Skills Lab Coordinator created a fun-filled day for students and faculty! "It has been hard on everyone to be apart. I wanted to make a day that helped build student confidence in skills while having fun!" said Laurie. Students came to the skills lab in small preassigned groups that followed our COVID protocol. Laurie created a packet of questions/skills that students had to work through. These clues then directed them to multiple skills stations for education with faculty, practice, and more clues! Laurie decorated all labs in the USA Olympic Team logo. Faculty dressed the part by sporting red, white, & blue Olympic gear. "Winning students" receive bronze, silver, or gold-colored urinals filled with candy. It was a great week of review, confidence building, morale-boosting fun! Thank you, Laurie!!
