Members of Mercy College Board of Trustees Recognized
Mercy College of Ohio President Trevor Bates, DHSc, AT, ATC, hosted his first meeting of the Board of Trustees on June 11. Outgoing members Sr. Nancy Merkle, Steve Sondergaard, and Tom Stuckey, who each served on the Board for three terms totaling nine years, were recognized for their service. Steve Sondergaard and Sr. Nancy Merkle also served as Chair and Vice Chair, respectively. Joe Pettee, who resigned from the Board, was also recognized. Joe served two terms plus an additional year, for a total of seven years, five of which were as Treasurer. 2023 BSN Going to Ukraine as Medical Volunteer
2023 graduate Liudmyla Buria will be going to Ukraine as a medical volunteer with the Global Care Force (GCF) team to provide acute and primary care during the war to people in need! GCF gives high-quality medical care to under-resourced communities. GCF volunteers are committed to doing whatever it takes to help those in need. They provide ongoing care and refill medications for free that are funded by donations.
