Enrollment Update
I hope that your summer is off to a great start!
The Office of Admissions continues to be busy recruiting students for the Fall semester working to reach the goal of 560 new students for Summer and Fall semester.
The summer semester enrollment (15 day count) is 715 students enrolled in 4334 credit hours that includes
58 new students.
As of 6/3/19 we had the following numbers in the pipeline for Fall:
Incomplete applications: 834 compared to 657 at this time in 2018
Accepted students: 286 compared to 174 at this time in 2018
Enrollment Deposits: 181 compared to 217 at this time in 2018
Enrolled for Fall as of 6/3/2019 (2018 numbers at this time are in parenthesis): New students: 45 (89) and 836 (852). We are trending ahead in applications and accepted students but down slightly in the number enrolled. So there is a lot of work yet to do for fall to reach our goals!
New Student Orientation (SOAR) for land based students begins next week, which increase the number of new students registering.
Marketing Reminder:
For items that you may have for your department or office that have the Mercy College logo on them or are printed materials that are sent to the students and/or the public, please contact Denise Hudgin, Director of Communication. The logo is part of the College Brand and we have specific guidelines for its use.
Strategic Planning:
The Strategic Plan is presently being updated and will be presented to the College Board of Trustees on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 for their approval. Once approved, it will be sent out to all Faculty and Staff and will be posted on the College website.
