Due to restrictions that email has on what type of files it allows to be sent and size limitations, a new process to the college is being set up which allows the transfer of files between locations with no limitations. This secured file transfer process can be used by anyone who runs into these types of issues when needing to send secure documents via email. The tool is call MoveIT and more information will be coming out soon. Our pilot group will be for sending and receiving files from BGSU and Tiffin University for our Dual Degree programs.

Remember to always scrutinize email that you receive and question clicking any links. Scammers are always trying to get verification of valid email addresses and once they have one verified, the door is open for attacks. If you do not know the sender or feel it might be a scam, forward the email directly to cybersecurity@mercy.com and they will do the checking and follow-up if needed.

Bon Secours Mercy Health is in the process of moving it’s large data center located in Florence, Ky. to a new location in Cincinnati close to the Home Office. During the next several months, we may experience issues like the recent Wi-Fi Issue on the MC-BYOD and Mercy Guest networks that occurred last week. If you have something out of the ordinary happening on your devices, please report it so it can be checked into.
