Volunteer Registration Now Open: Glass City Marathon Water Stop

Save the Date Glass City Marathon Water Stop Volunteer Opportunity Sunday April 23 2023

Faculty and Staff: Now is the time to sign up to volunteer for the Mercy Health Glass City Marathon, Sunday, April 23, 2023. Mercy College Water stop is in Wildwood Park and receives the marathon runners twice during their 26-mile event. Volunteers will hand out water, energy packets, and other supplies, along with cheering on the runners. Volunteers are needed from 7 a.m. until approximately 12:30 p.m. We close the stop when the last official runner has passed for the second time. Please feel free to bring your family members and friends. We will need a total of 10 – 15 volunteers for the stop. It is really a fun way to spend a Sunday morning! The runners so appreciate the volunteers.

Each volunteer receives a t-shirt. Volunteers must sign up by March 1, 2023, in order to receive a t-shirt.

To Sign Up to Volunteer:

  1. Click the following link: MERCY HEALTH GLASS CITY MARATHON Volunteer Registration (runsignup.com)
  2. Under "Find Your Category" select "Water Stops- Sunday, April 23, 2023"
  3. Select the "Water Stop 12/21.2 miles/Mercy"
  4. Click "Volunteer"

Note: If you have volunteered in the past you will need to log in to your run sign-up account. (I did it this way and had to reset my password. Very simple to do.)
