Empower Menu Standardization
Submitted by Jeff Metzger
In an effort to improve the consistency and utility of the Empower Me! website, the student-facing menus will be reorganized and standardized on February 17. No menu items will be removed, but they may be relocated and some new items will be added. The top-level menu headings will also undergo minor changes for naming consistency and the menu structure will be flattened to reduce the number of clicks required to traverse the submenus. For example, in the current menu structure, the "Change Password" option is under the "Settings and Tools" menu for prospective students but is under "Student Records" for enrolled students. In the new structure, an "Account Settings" menu will contain the "Change Password" function. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
Remind Students to Complete the Student Satisfaction Inventory
Submitted by Elizabeth Resetar
Faculty and Staff,
Students received emails on February 7, 2022, to complete the Student Satisfaction Inventory. To get as high a response rate as possible, we need all faculty and staff to remind students to complete this survey. As an incentive, students who complete the survey by February 28 will receive a $5 gift card - just for their opinion. Please encourage your students often.
We appreciate everyone's assistance with reminding students weekly to complete this survey.
Thank you for all you do for Mercy College of Ohio students!
