Virtual Clothesline Project in Recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month

In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Mercy College is offering an opportunity for the college community to participate virtually in The Clothesline Project, a visual display of the impact of interpersonal violence and abuse. These t-shirts have been created by survivors and other caring individuals to symbolize those that have suffered from domestic violence, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, physical assault, or death. The Clothesline Project offers a voice to those affected by interpersonal violence and abuse and demonstrates the strength of survivors and their loved ones to keep going.

We invite students, staff, and faculty to participate by designing a shirt to be included anonymously in a campus-wide slideshow. This experience is often seen as healing for those who create the shirts.

The deadline for submitting shirts for the slideshow is Friday, April 30, 2021. Nurses Week Scholarships

Mercy College of Ohio is celebrating Nurses Week by offering several $1000 scholarships to Bon Secours Mercy Health employees who will be new RN to BSN, RN to MSN and MSN students enrolling in August 2021. If you know someone interested, encourage them to complete the three-question application or learn more at www.mercycollege.edu/nurses Applications are due by May 15 and scholarships must be used during the fall 2021 semester.
