We have titled the next several months: Operation Enroll with it! Basically all hands on deck with the staff we have in the Enrollment Division!

  • Miranda Gelb, Admission Officer, has taken a position with Monroe County Community College and her last day was Thursday, 04/14. We thank Miranda for her time and work with us and wish her the best in her new role!
  • McKenzie Rosemond, Admission Officer, welcomed a new baby boy on Friday 04/15. Theodore Brooks Rosemond 7lbs. 10oz, 21 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great! McKenzie will be on maternity leave through the summer and will return at the beginning of August.

This makes the admissions department very short-staffed for the time being. We are working through resumes and applications and hope to move forward with the interview process very soon!

Jessie, Gina and Andrea Schuster will be taking on a population of students and working alongside Nkemdi Jones. The entire enrollment team is taking on additional tasks to cover the shortage until we can hire for the position. Denise Hudgin, Lori Edgeworth and our student workers will call prospective students and lead tours on campus when necessary.

Hannah Bohn will be going out on maternity leave late May or early June. Lori and Denise will be working with Hannah's responsibilities of Grants, Alumni activities, the Alumni Board, and the Auxiliary. The Alumni and Friends Weekend is scheduled for Saturday, September 23, and Sunday, September 24 so the summer will be busy with planning for these events.

If you have questions or would like more detail on the recruitment process and staffing, please do not hesitate to contact Jessie, Gina or me.

The Enrollment Team is committed to doing all possible to ensure that we meet the credit hour goals set for the College.

We thank the college community for your patience and understanding over the next several months!

Our students engaged in activities that included agility training, assistance dogs, wheelchair basketball, sensory equipment, vision impairment, and mobility/accessibility equipment."

The Ability Center provides services to people with disabilities in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan in an effort to create the nation’s most disability-friendly community.
