Final Call: Water Stop Volunteer Spots Available

Attention Faculty and Staff! You can still sign up to volunteer for the Mercy College Water Stop for the Glass City Marathon on Sunday, April 23. Mercy College has the Water Stop in Wildwood Park and will serve the marathon runners twice – miles 12 and 21.5. We need volunteers from 7 a.m. until approximately 12:30 p.m. or when the last official runner has passed our stop. It is a fun way to spend a Sunday!

If you are interested in volunteering and have not yet signed up please reach out to Lori Edgeworth at Lori.edgeworth1@mercycollege.edu. Family and friends are welcome to join you! Lori will respond to your email with the details to complete the signup.

Raising Cane’s Fundraiser Supports Scholarships

The Mercy College Alumni Association is hosting a fundraiser on Thursday 4/13 from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. at Raising Cane’s in Perrysburg. Mention the fundraiser at the register or in your online order and a portion of all sales will go back to the Alumni Association for student scholarships!

The Mercy College Auxiliary is selling tickets for a 50/50 raffle (proceeds benefit student scholarships) and for a $250 Hilton Basket (1-night stay for two and breakfast)!

Drawing will be held at the Auxiliary Luncheon on Thursday 4/13. Need not be present to win.

Reminder: Invitation to the College Community: Radiology Poster Presentation

The Radiologic Technology program invites the college community to an event on Tuesday, April 18, from 10-11 a.m. This will be taking place on the 2nd floor of Jefferson around the Rad classroom. Our graduating 2nd-year students will be displaying poster presentations featuring topics related to radiation biology. The posters will discuss topics ranging from Chernobyl to natural background radiation. You can spend as much or as little time as you wish browsing through student topics. Each student will have a speech prepared to explain their poster. Please save the date! We’d love to see you there.
