DESCRIPTION:The Clothesline Project is a visual display of T-shirts that
  are created by survivors and other caring individuals to sy
 mbolize those who have suffered from sexual assault\, domest
 ic violence\, childhood sexual abuse abuse\, physical assaul
 t or death. These shirts have been created by members of the
  Mercy College community. The purpose of The Clothesline Pro
 ject is to increase awareness of the impact of violence and 
 abuse\, to honor a survivor’s strength to continue\, and t
 o provide another avenue for them to courageously break the 
 silence that often surrounds their experience. Along with th
 e display itself\, there will also be a Sexual Assault Aware
 ness Month resource table and prevention/ support pledges fo
 r members of the Mercy College community to sign.
