DESCRIPTION:Interprofessional simulation with emphasis on roles/responsi
 bilities\, effective communication\, interdisciplinary colla
 boration\, and teamwork in a disaster situation. This activi
 ty requires specific clinical knowledge of START and JumpSTA
 RT algorithms\, primary/secondary trauma assessments\, Rule 
 of Nine’s\, and the Parkland Formula. Students will use cr
 itical thinking\, prioritization\, and delegation to balance
  the flux of incoming patients during a code yellow. Key con
 cepts include disaster preparedness\, response\, and mitigat
 ion with mass casualty incidents.

 Room & Simulation Center. Northview High School students are
  also participating in this event. They will arrive at 8am b
 y bus to the main lobby\, Melissa Cafferty is their med tech
